HR SUPPORT = BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT and COST SAVINGS (who would have thought that?)
McNally & Thompson were my first client. Electrical contractors employing around 40 people direct. I remember going to see Fred just after I had
created Maia HR Solutions to talk to him about the services I could provide to help him manage the people related issues within his business.
Understandably Fred was wondering if he could afford it, and did he actually need it. After all, the business had done okay without any
professional HR support. He made the comparison between the professional H & S advice he paid for from external sources and decided to start
with the level 2 programme for £279 per month. This meant we could start looking at some improvement work as well as having telephone and email support when he needed it.
Starting with a HR review, we checked where the business stood in terms of legal compliance as well as recognising where improvements could be
made in the employment, management and development of his employees.

starting position was and working with Maia for several months now, the answer to both my initial questions of affordability and necessity is a resounding yes.
We have not only reviewed several procedures/policies, but without just generating paperwork, have introduced new procedures to assist in
